Ready for a hardcore diet to get lean in a matter of days?
This diet is used by professional bodybuilders to prepare before the competition. It requires an iron willpower but guarantees 100% results.
Here is how it works:
* Normally this diet is followed for 3 days.
* Take in 6 equal tuna servings. Once each 2.5 - 3 hours.
* Drink as much water as possible. At least 3-4 liters. Water fills your stomach and helps you not to feel hungry. There is no limit. Drink as much as you can.
* Take at least twice a day some vitamins. This is crucial since you won't get much vitamins from tuna during this diet.
* You will need at least 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of your weight (aroung 3 gram per kilogram). Tuna's marvelous as it contains 26 gram protein per 100 gram tuna. Here are two handy formulas to calculate your tuna serving size:
For kilogram calculation: (bodyweight * 3 * 100) / (6 * 26) = bodyweight * 300 / 156 = 1 tuna serving (in gram)
For pound calculation: bodyweight * 100 / 156 or bodyweight * 150 / 156 = 1 tuna serving (in gram)
Don't think it is an easy task, but the harder the task, the greater the payoff. For beginners I suggest to start the diet on friday evening after the work and keep it for two days. The reason is that you cannot control the regular food intake very well during a workday as you work normally 4 hours (or more) non stop and get only one break to eat. Moerover, two days diet is not as hardcore as 3 or 4 days diet. I recommend this for all beginners. If you can keep this diet for two days without problems, wonderful, you can keep it for one or two days more.

Q: Who is behind the Ako Mismo campaign?

Q: Is Ako Mismo the launchpad of any candidate in the future?
A: No. This is an apolitical effort as it shifts the initiative for change from government and politics to the individual. Although this was an initiative of the agency, it was our hope to get the support of like-minded individuals and companies. We are fortunate that the PLDT Smart foundation has been inspired to support this effort at the very onset and we are encouraged by the interest of many more corporations to contribute to the cause. We realize that the campaign touched a deep chord and could very well be used for commercial or political gain. Which is why we choose our partners and personalities well. We have to make sure that they are true believers and role models for the cause by their life’s example.
Q; How did you choose who to feature in the campaign?
A: We had certain criteria. We wanted to represent different sectors: from celebrities to ordinary folk, from religious to business, students, the academe, and working people. It was also important that whoever we featured genuinely believed in our message, and were already engaged in their own worthwhile advocacies so they could be credible, inspiring role models for others. And because this is an inclusive and apolitical movement, it was also critical that whoever we featured did not have any strong political affiliations. In fact, we were particularly inspired when those we sought and who sought us to be included in the campaign, shared their concern that they not be used for political gain.
Now that we’ve opened up the movement and people are signing up with their personal commitments, however, we anticipate that there will be those who will express views that not everyone will agree with. But so long as we have inspired each person to take it upon himself to do something good, whether it’s a change in attitude or behavior, a commitment to provide financial support to the needy, or support institutions that benefit the community, society, and the country at large, we will have done a good thing.
Q: How has the response been to the campaign?
A: It has been phenomenal. The overwhelming response of people and the tens of thousands who have signed up for their commitments—it’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Q: Are you open to accepting other companies to support the cause?
A: Absolutely. This is the whole point behind Ako Mismo. It is an instrument for unity in a fractious society. As such, we welcome diversity, whether it be individuals, groups, companies or sponsors. The broader our support, the better it is for the advocacy to flourish and be able to support worthwhile socio-civic activities. However, we have to ensure that whoever partners with us is aligned with our vision and that the movement not be commercialized.
Q: The registration for Ako Mismo requires information from those who sign up. Will the database be used for commercial or political gain?
A: No. The basic information we asked for will be used to guide us in the deployment of the dogtags to the right people. The information will also be useful as we mobilize our socio-civic activities, as it will determine where and what projects are relevant in specific areas. It is important to point out that this whole movement is one of volunteerism. And while we hope more people will sign up, or that our members will participate in future activities (the choice of which will be guided by feedback we receive about what matters to them), ultimately each individual has total freedom to decide whether he will participate or not. We are very protective about the information we receive and we have taken security precautions against people accessing the information for their use without our knowledge. We are zealous about protecting the movement from being exposed to those with political or commercial agenda.
Q: People are asking for dogtags and where they can get them.
A: We wanted the dogtags to be a symbol for Ako Mismo and one’s commitment. The dogtag is a military symbol, a commitment to a mission, and we see the advocates as an army of hope. But to be quite honest we didn’t expect the clamor for the dogtags to be this huge. And so we are rushing to produce them in quantities to satisfy the demand. But for sure they will be made available in a few weeks. From the many blogs and comments we received, people wish to pay for them, and for those who do, we will ask only a minimal fee to defray cost, the proceeds of which will go to a respected and established charitable organization. Q: People are asking where is Ako Mismo leading up to, now that people have become aware and signed up their commitments?
A: Our initial objective was to change people’s attitudes and behavior and encourage belief in themselves and their innate power to make a difference. It is our hope that they will act on their commitments, which is the next step. We will provide a vehicle online for people to share their achievements, and in so doing, get more people inspired and engaged in taking real action. Q: What are the future activities of Ako Mismo beyond creating awareness? Where will you take the movement?
A: We hope to engage more companies in the movement and organize and/or support socio-civic activities in pockets all over the country, guided by the information we receive online about the causes that resonate most consistently among the most number of people. Peanut Butter Mania
Many people have wanted to make healthier and wise choices when it comes to eating, but we’ve found that these healthy foods can be quite bland. So I want to bring back some fun into our diets.
Remember when we were kids and we’d have peanut butter and jam sandwiches for lunch? We didn’t know it but those were probably the unhealthiest lunches are parents were packing for us. But they didn’t know better.
Let’s look at why the sandwiches they made were unhealthy for us and what we can do to turn it upside down and make it not only healthy but also just as yummy!
Peanut Butter for some it's a sandwich spread or for snack and there's a lot of brands out in the local market. it is primarily made from roasted peanuts.
And do you know that this food paste have health benefits?
IT'S TRUE!! more than 5 studies shows that this peanut butter may protect a high risk of cardiovascular diseases due to high levels of good fats called (monounsaturated fats) and resveratrol this is a natural antimicrobial agent, produced by the peanut plant (and in even larger quantities by red grapes) to ward off potential pathogens (bacteria, virii and fungi).
Resveratrol is actually believed to be the cause of the "French paradox" (French people having a lower risk of cardiovascular disease despite their diet rich in fats).

well i've tried to have this 4 tsp a day.. and it really helped me to stop starving from sweets and it really makes me feel full after all... so i've searched in the net for the low fat recipes since im now a health conscious person im looking forward to low fat peanut butter cookie.. and here's some recipe i've found.. and i wanted to share it.. :D
LOW FAT LOW CHOLESTEROL PEANUT BUTTER
COOKIES
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
1 stick low fat butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 egg whites
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream the butter and peanut butter, cream in the brown sugar, then beat in the egg whites. Sift the flour and salt and stir in. Dough will be stiff. Roll into small balls of 1 inch diameter. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Press down on the top of each cookie with a fork, to form a crisscross design. Make: half dollar size cookies. Yield: about 3 dozen cookies. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes.
Low Fat Peanut Butter Cookies
From the kitchen of: Lisa.
• 1 2/3 cup flour
• 1 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 1/2 tablespoons light corn syrup (karo)
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• cooking spray
• extra sugar for rolling
Preheat oven to 375. Combine first 4 ingredients, (plus cinnamon if you want to use it) in a bowl; stir and set aside.
Combine brown sugar, white sugar, oil and peanut butter in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of mixer until well blended. Add corn syrup, vanilla, egg; beat well.
Next, stir in flour mixture. (Hint: to avoid burning out your mixer's motor you maybe should do this by hand, since the dough becomes extremely thick.) Adding some peanut butter chips is YUMMY but increases calories.
Make 48 balls out of the dough; roll them in the bowl of extra sugar; place 1 or 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with the flat bottom of a glass.
Bake at 375 for 7 minutes or a little longer, until just barely browned. Remove from pans and allow to cool on wire racks.
Per cookie (48 cookies): 59 calories, 1 gram protein; 2 grams fat; 9.5 grams carbs, 5 mg cholesterol
